The KeeWahSheena Indian Guides is a group of Riverside fathers and sons that meet for a few hours each month in a fun atmosphere that promotes spiritual growth, leadership, communication skills, bonding, learning and togetherness.
Who Are We?
Fathers and Sons from Riverside School District 96 and Saint Mary's School, Riverside, Illinois. Boys (and their Dads) from K-5th grade at Ames, Blythe Park, Cental, Hollywood and Saint Mary's are welcome to participate.
What Are We?
The KeeWahSheena Tribe is the Riverside Chapter of the Prairie Trail Federation Indian Guides Program, sponsored and sanctioned by the Rich Port/Greater LaGrange YMCA of LaGrange, Illinois.
When Do We Meet?
We typically meet one Thursday a month from 6:30 – 8:00 during the school year.
Where Do We Meet?
At the Riverside Scout Cabin plus many local planned events including: laser tag, bowling, swimming, batting cages and others activities. There are three campouts a year at YMCA camps in Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan and Indiana plus many other events sponsored by the Prairie Trail Federation.

Feb. 01, 2010 - KeeWahSheena participates in Haiti Relief effort
The tribe collected a modest donation in cash and goods from members to aid earthquate victims in Haiti. The
goods collected were delivered, via the federation, to the Haitian Congress to Fortify Haiti.
